Stephen Hauser is our "intern jackpot" hero! Stephen Hauser '92 is an American writer living in Hollywood. Starting out as an intern for Hollywood director & mogul, Barry Levinson, Stephen's talent for finding good sellable scripts propelled him from intern to Levinson's assistant to screenwriter. He began his screenwriting career in a class “Advanced Screenwriting” taught by Dr. Myrna Grant of the graduate communications department at Wheaton.

His credits include: Sleepers '96, Homicide '94-'96, Disclosure '94, Sniper '93 and Year of the Rat '01. In 1998 Stephen wrote the screenplay for the Dustin Hoffman, & Born-Again Actor, Sharon Stone blockbuster, Sphere. A film adapted from the Michael Crichton novel at the box office grossed $37 Million. Sphere is the all time #7 film in the Horror-Terror in the Water category. (Jaws is #1) Stephen has 3 projects currently under development, they include: The Mistaken, The Silence of Six, The Manners of Madness.
